When the goal is efficient high dose oral delivery of critical nutrients, Lypo-Spheric® is a category of one.  We engineered every facet of our product from the ingredients to the packaging to provide you a better way to absorb vitamins and nutrients.

Single-Dose Packets Protect Supplements from Degradation

Liposomal supplements must be protected from heat and oxygen to protect its stability.  You can spot a deteriorating liposomal product if it is separating into layers.

One way to enhance the stability  of a liposomal product is through uni-dose packaging. Many liposomal products are sold in bottles.  Opening the bottle to remove a dose exposes the remaining product to heat, light, and oxygen.  This can cause rapid degradation of the nutrients, and the expiration date is usually 45 days after opening.  Uni-dose packaging protects the product from oxygen until moments before consumption, keeping it safe and effective throughout the shelf-life of the product.

A True Liposomal Supplement

Buying a liposomal product in a capsule may sound like a good idea, no unpleasant taste, less packaging wast, lower cost.  But the product likely doesn’t contain liposome-encapsulated nutrients.  For a liposomal product to contain liposomes, it needs water.  “In order to produce liposomes (of whatever kind), lipid molecules must be introduced into an aqueous environment.”  Water is the most common aqueous material in liposomal supplements.  Review the ingredient list of any “liposomal” capsule product, and see if you find water.  Without water – and a bona fide liposomal manufacturing process-there are no liposomes.

How To Tell A Liposomal Supplement From An Emulsion

Some companies make emulsions and call them “Liposomal Supplements” because emulsions are easy and inexpensive to produce.  Whether they believe they have products encapsulated in liposomes is unknown.

You can spot an emulsion masquerading as a liposomal supplement by the amount of phospholipids or lecithin in the product.  If these are listed as “Other Ingredients,” the product likely does not contain enough material to create any liposomes, even if the production process is otherwise appropriate.  A watery consistency also indicates an insufficient amount of phospholipids or low-quality phospholipids.

A low-volume dosage means that the product doesn’t contain enough phospholipids or water to make proper liposomes.

If you take an emulsion that contains lecithin and a nutrient like Vitamin C, you may see good results since both components are excellent supplements.  You will not experience the potentially exceptional results offered by products using real Liposomal Encapsulation Technology.  It’s all in the delivery!

Phospholipids Extracted From Non-GMO soy Lecithin

Stable liposomes that can encapsulate nutrients without easily breaking apart require phospholipids from refined sources that have natural high percentages of Phosphatidylcholine (PC) and Phosphatidylethanolmine (PE).

Some products are made with low-quality soy lecithin, which does not have the proper percentage of PC or PE to make liposomes. This type of lecithin is typically used as a food additive, and should not be used in liposomal supplements.

Rigorous Testing Yields a Better Quality Product

We manufacture all our products in the USA in a facility that complies with Good Manufacturing Processes.

Each Lypo-Spheric® formula manufactured by LivOn Labs spends at least two years in research and development, with formulators who have over 25 years of experience in Liposomal Encapsulation Technology (LET). When a formula is approved, we are confident it will consistently produce a stable liposomal product, with superior encapsulation efficiency.

Throughout production and packaging, we monitor and test each batch at critical points for active ingredient content, microbiological agents, heavy metals, and other potential contaminants.

After each batch is packaged, we evaluate the physical characteristics of each sample, then conduct an additional round of testing for active ingredient content and microbiological agents. We only release finished products after our Quality team has reviewed all of the batch records and determined the product meets our exact specifications.

Transparent, Consistent Pricing is Based on Costs of Procuring the Best Ingredients

Yes, our products cost more than traditional pills or powders.  If you calculate the cost per milligram of nutrient you can absorb from the supplements (which is really all that matters), you will find that our products are a better deal.

But that is not the reason for the higher price.

Sourcing non-GMO phospholipids is costly as only an estimated 4% of soybeans grown in the United States are non-GMO. We source our raw ingredients from reputable, trusted manufacturers. We only work with well-known, qualified suppliers who verify that each ingredient is made from non-GMO materials and that they follow strict quality processes to maintain the integrity of the ingredient.  To verify the materials are non-GMO, we routinely test each product for DNA markers.

The disparity between our product prices reflect the differences in the costs of the raw ingredients.  For example, the racemic R form of Alpha Lipoic Acid is significantly more expensive than the synthetic S form used in most dietary supplements.  The R form has significantly higher bioavailability than the S form, which is why we use it in our supplements.
